This gave Wrightbus stand out presence in the bus sector. Extensive coverage in social media and press has led to the turnaround of a business, from liquidation in late 2019 to a flourishing zero-emission leader. Their team expanded from 46 to nearly 1,000 people over the same time and order bank has transitioned from 70% diesel to 70% zero-emission buses. For the first time in its history, the business is on plan to become a global player across more continents.
This led to a full order book, and enquiries from bus builders and operators around the world for zero-emission technology supply.
